I don't agree with everything in your article, but I strongly support your argument against always holding marches (and other protests) on Saturdays. I would have wanted to have been able to look at the marches for myself, if only to make up my own mind on whether they are 'pro-Palestine peace marches' or 'anti-Israel hate marches,' but I've not been able to do so, because my view of Sabbath observance, although it doesn't extend to attending synagogue, does certainly include the avoidance of any involvement in overtly political activities on that day. As you say, they could perfectly well state that they're moving the marches (or at least some of them) to Sundays in order to encourage greater participation from observant Jews. That would surely generate positive PR for the pro-Palestine cause?
